NME in Luton

30 June 07

Busy few days since Glasto, working my little socks off and getting back in to it. Last night i went straight from London to Luton.....enough said. Club NME has recently opened there and I sent up there for a feature in  a few weeks time.  Band tonight 'Man like me'. Very cool lads, and a good laugh. def worth checking out their myspace, and on the new wave of anti-guitar indie.

Jacks doing very well in the chats and you can see why by tonight, really good-time pop-ska style stuff. The stuff that puts you in a good mood. Few more gigs this week before heading to Rosklide Festival in Denmark next week, cant wait!

Glasto

25 June 07

It was that time of year again...Glasto time. This week in June each year when we make our way down south to the land of mud. Had a wicked time, despite the rain, saw tones of very good bands and wetted ( see what i did there) my appetite for Rosklide fest in denmark in 10 days time. Word of the week : 'Chill-Ax'

Just got back from London, was shooting a river cruise for a friends grad party last night which was very fun, and it was also Harriet's birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Been a busy few days, been to Wireless and getting ready for the greatest show on earth..Glasto. This will also mean no internet access so I'll update again after the festival. Here are a selection of O2 Wireless moments from Sunday. Kaisers, Editors, & Los Campesinos.

harry potter and his white strips

13 June 07

Today I was visiting my friend in Oxford, home of Harry Potter. I was having a great day, zipping about on bikes, visiting museums and eating a very nice sausage and mash when I got a call.. I was in for shooting The White Strips at their secret show at the Rivoli Ballroom. So I munched down my lunch, jumped back in the car, back to Hertfordshire to pick up my kit and down to south south London for the show. It was amazing, such a wicked venue, and met with Anthony to enjoy the sweet sounds. Many apologies to laura for rushing off so rudely, I'll try and make it up to you!

I was born in the 80's

06 June 07

Scala...again, this time for Mr Calvin Harris, the guy who we have to blame for such songs as ' Born in the 80's' and 'Girls'. There was a barrier at the Scala tonight, which made things easier but the lighting was poor, very disco-y, but not that great for photos! I'm having trouble trying to get that silly song out of my head.

Artrocker : die die die

06 June 07

This months Artrocker Magazine. The mag used the shots from the Die! Die! Die! shoot I did in Brighton the other week. They ran a Cover shot and a double page as the main feature, which is really cool. The mag came out today (Wednesday 6th June).

Chemical

01 June 07

What a day, so many things to do, and my foots still playing me up. But that didn't stop me, Chemical Brothers this eve. Roundhouse, a popular venue at the moment, but I'm quickly going off it. For the Second time in 7 days I've found myself outside with every other punter waiting for the fire alarm to stop. This time for 45 minutes, and its was 35 minutes for groove armada last week. They need to sort it out! To top it, no pit, so back of the balcony it was. Just about made that last train home.
