ast job of yesterday was for NME, shooting Albert Hammond Jr in Hyde park. Again, as all have been this week, a top bloke, something you might not expect from a member of The Strokes.
Had a wicked time with Does it offend you Yeah? again yesterday, top lads. this time for FRONT Magazine fashion section. More to follow when published. This is me messing about with them. They always get asked to do silly jumping shots, so thought i would take the mick and get them to stand altra straight and bored with me jumping in front of them for a laugh!
Thursday was a long old day, pin-balling all about London I was ready for my bed by the end of the day at 2.30am. Highlight of the days activity was the Clik Clik. I did their press shots a while ago but never saw them live. They were very very good, well worth checking out, and blow equal if not better hadouken (whom they will be on tour with shortly). Top Guys and Gal.
Coincidence, but for Lunch I had a Subway, and last night I shot The Subways at ULU. Not too happy with the direct hit some little idiot got with Their pint on My camera, but thats rock N roll for you. Lucky enought its alright, but my heart was in my mouth for a second! Johnny Foreigner Supporting who were good.
Carried the big kit in on the train down to Hoxton. Did a shoot with Tired Irie for L&Q and stayed for the show, really good, esp the support Ezra Bang and the Hot Machine.
The Ting tings, Katie and Jules in Northampton at Soundhaus. Real nice peeps! and a great live show, def worth checking out when they visit a town near you.
In a Hendrix behind the head style, this chap was playing guitar lying face down, ad he was very good! Thing is, some one could of had all his money away and he would never of known.
Yesterday I was almost up for 24hours! I was on a job for NME, headed over to Ireland to Dublin for the day to shoot We Are Scientists while they shot their music video for their next single. Had a wicked day, completely worth the lack of sleep.
