Look see proof

24 February 08

Spent today doing Press shots for Herfordshire based band Look See Proof. Wicked guys, and they are off to SXSW, so good luck to them. Shot in a rundown C14th Chapel which was haunted, I was more concerned by the dog in the scrap yet we went to after.

CutCopy

23 February 08

Had quite a busy week, not all music related but tis been good. Watch Jouls Holland last night, and was convinced I spotted myself once. Yesterday I shot down to Farringdon to do a cover shoot with Ozzy band CutCopy. Cool guys, over for a few days before their album comes out here in April. The shoot was in Fabric Nightclub, what a maze!

Les Savy Fav

11 February 08

This weekend see's me following a band called Les Savy Fav, as far north as Bedford( which is not very north at all) and down to central London. This band are amazing live and on record, and I'm now completely converted. Tim Harrington, the main man, is mental. During the set he ran into the girls loo's with a cam corder, jumped into the bar, ran half way out the venue and sucked peoples fingers (greg), its quite a sight.

NME awards show No 1

08 February 08

Down to the Astoria tonight, for my first 2008 NME awards show, headlining was the Pigeon Detectives, but support was in the form of Back Kids and the Rascals..only the Rascals pulled out a surprise guest, Mr Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys fame, for their last track, so that was a nice touch to spice up the eve.

Thursday night I headed down to Islington to Bar Academy to shoot Those Dancing days, Swedish twee pop. Pleasantly surprised, and the lead singer was strangely a spitting image for my cousin! Shots run in the Guardian Saturday.
