Headed over to oxford this foggy night with my brother (great to have him back from OZ), we went over to a secret gig at The Cellar. Foals were playing a small show before their touring schedule goes nut for 2008. wicked gig, the Band sandwiched between two crowds. Amazing live band, so catch them soon. I was there covering it for NME.

Paris

Had a couple of Days out while January is still nice and quite. Headed over to Paris for a lovely trip. Had a great time, not been for years and throughly enjoyed it.

Tuesday night was quite a late one esp as I had to get up at 5 to travel to Paris. Lightspeed Champion was launching his album at White Heat @ Madame Jojo's in Soho + Special Guests. These guests included Fred from Ox. eagle. lion. man, Alex Turner from the Arctic Monkey's and the Girls from Ipso Facto. It was a very cool night. the all star band did various covers which went down a storm. Covered for NME.

Today was a double job day, firstly into East London to shoot Cobra Dukes, an electro Rock band from London/Oz. Really nice guys, def check them out. These were press shots for management. Then onto Essex to shoot a portrait session with Sally.

Well...what can I say... Radiohead 93feet east 175 people, smallest gig in 10years, Amazing. A few shots from the night. I was only 1 of 2 lucky photographers there to capture the event on camera (apart from the Film camera that broadcast the event to the world!)

Silent studio/ super tennis

Yesterday I spent my day in Dalston/Hackney doing a profile portrait of the founding members of
Silent Studios, an Audio/Video/Graphics company that do some very cool stuff, the shots were for their feature in Design Week, so look out for that in the shops soon. After that shoot I met up with friends and headed to see a band at Buffalo Bar in Highbury. They were called
Super Tennis, and were very good.

Welcome back...and welcome to 2008. Down to KOKO for the first gig for the year. Offishall Secrets Act play tonight at Club NME. Good band..cool guys! The start of jan is always slow for gigs in London but toward the end and into Feb will be amazing...so many great shows, not enough days!
