This is what happens when all the bands have gone home for the day...munching all the left over jaffer cakes, drinking all the coke and running about like idiots.I was Shooting You Me At Six today, had a wicked shoot in a really nice Studio. shout out to the team!

When along to cover Dinosaur Pile Up playing Barfly in London last night, a lot of hype about this band, lots of industry interest, and they were good, fair doo's. Sounded something between Queens of the stone age and Nivana.

The Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool. Our home for the night whilst shooting the Wombats. With obscure B-side playing in the lobby, its was a novelty. My room had a very nice painting of the lads on the wall. Everything about it was very 60's. Next door to the hotel is the new Cavern music venue, and a big tourist attraction for visitor to scouse.

We Have Band, shot this week down the side of a 'massage' parlor in East London, Great wall art tho. Had such a long day in and around this shoot, ducking back between east and central all day lugging a few heads and packs for lighting.

Had a very Busy week this week, done lots of shoots all over the place hence lack of blog posts. Just got back from Liverpool and from shooting the Wombats. Had a very cool time, and stayed in a Beatles themed hotel which was ace.

Swn was ace, had a great time over in Cardiff, even found time to visit the castle, which was amazing. NME had a stage at Swn this year and headlining it was Amazing Baby.
Also, screen shot of some of these shots used on BBC Newbeat website as part of their Swn Review.

A very quick backstage pic of miss Laura Marling in Birmingham. This was the first time I've got to see her play live, and really liked her stuff on record. Very very talented young lady. Liking Black and White at the moment, as I've got a new Film look converter which seems to work very well.

Future Of The Left paying live at Cambridge Junction the other night. Covered for an NME live review. Real good band, totally solid. Top welsh lads as well.

Now this has been published here are a few more shots of Fall Out Boy live at London Dungeon with other week. I far prefer these the the ones that made the final cut, but that is all personal preference.
For those of you who dont live near London or know of it, the London Dungeon is now a tourist attraction, a reconstruction of old time British jails and dungeons but based in the original site. The event was around Halloween and quite apt. The band had played at Wembely Arena the night previously, so a difference in crowd of about 12,000 people.

The Bands was 'Mumford and Sons' and was shots in the middle a roundabout in east London. The guys then went on to play an instore at RoughTrade East, they are really good.
