Friendly fires

East Yorkshire last night, Hull in fact for a Friendly Fires gig. It was great, that band are amazing, well worth checking out if you get a chance, and they are from St Albans, very close to me in Hertfordshire. Had a wicked time. The venue (Adelphi) got so hot that my camera misted up, on the inside! so no amount of lens cloth would sort that out, took an hour after the gig, and back at the hotel for it to clear...not good for it i'm sure, covered in airborn human body fluid.

london OpenHouse

I headed into London this afternoon for OpenHouse, an Annual event whereby many of London's private buildings open their doors for one weekend only. Places like Government offices, bank head offices etc etc. I headed for the Foreign Office just off Whitehall.

Airwaves

I've not blogged much this week as I've been working on project that can not be seen until its published. But I've got a few a can share with you. Here are a few frames as a peek as to what will be on NME.com in the morning. Friday was London Airwaves, a twin of the Iceland Airwaves event, sharing its event with london for its 10th Year anniversary. Saw some good stuff, caught up with people and had a good time. Below, Metronony and Hearts Revolution.

First promo ever

This week has been quite slow. Time spent getting my admin up to date and re launching the site ( thanks to all for the feedback so far) Its about to get busy again, but in the mean time here is an old shot.

One of the very first Promo shots I EVER did. Robin Bruckner was a musician in Sydney. This was taken on the road leading up to Kings Cross, a pretty 'red light' part of town and the local landmark, a giant Coke sign, just visible by robins hip.

These shots were just for him o use as press shots, an we wandered about Sydney at night getting some good shots. I had only been in the city for a few days and little did I know that It was going to be this city that changed my career into what it is today. I miss that place, not Kings cross, but Sydney. Top city, I'll get back there soon...

Dark Findings

As I walked through a field to get to a location with the band, we came across the strangest and darkest thing. A pare of high heals, 3 bra's and pants, and a few porn magazines. All just scattered on the ground. This place was in the middle of no where. Very very strange.

Some randon bits for a catch up

Well I've been away for the last part of the week down in Cornwall ( the most south westerly part of the country, for those reading overseas). Had a great time. So I've been off the pulse since the beginning of this month with all the City Guide tour and Reading and then a little holiday. So here are a few bits of what I've been up to.
