After a few good nights sleep I tackled more of Tokyo. Squid balls, skyscrapers and backstreets.
The first Day in Tokyo, no sleep for going on 30 hours, but japan is amazing. A few bits from day 1 - Shibya, and International forum.
Today i leave for Tokyo for several week, so expect fewer posts on the blog for a short time. I will however, be trying to keep the blog uptodate with photographs I take when i'm away, internet allowing. This shot is off a paper i picked up 5 years ago, and was when i was last in Japan. Exciting to be heading back.
Some of the more obscure sights you'll find in Central. These shots were inspired by Phil Sharp, a friend and fellow photographer.
Shot up on Crouch Hill, north London. Inhabited victorian house with loads of stuff piled high n the garden.
One additional shot from the 2 Door Cinema Club cover shoot. On this shoot i tried alot of new bits, inc Free lens'ing, basically holding the lens in front of the camera instead of it being attached. Gets odd results, quite hit and miss, but definitly gives that film-esk non focus.
This months AU magazine, with my cover shoot of Tow Door Cinema Club. Shot in Old Street Station in London. You can view the digital version of the mag HERE
This is a small part of Collosus, the worlds first computer. It was created to crack codes of german communications in the 2nd world war. Its the size of a room.
This months Kruger has a feature on Me, Danny North and Andrew Kendall shooting Swn festival and the system we used called Digital Photo Gallery. Good read if you want to know tech stuff about what we did.
The Feature I Shot for Kruger Magazine with Ellie Goulding. Out now.
Side shot from the fashion shoot, Aimee by the book shelf. In this shots, i'm not even sure she see's me, its like she's looking straight through. Shot on the Yashica TLR.
I got this selection of slides from a seconf hand shop. They were therein a big bucket, no home, but intreging. This is the handfull I pulled out, some old England, some European travels by the look of them. A dive into someone elses memories.
There is a hell of alot of content on this site. Menu just on the left hand side, and take your pick from the galleries. From famous Musicians, lovely square medium format portraits, to Polaroids and personal projects. The blog is what i'm up to now, but there are far more good pictures in the galleries. This is a picture of Quin, more in the Fashion section.
Harriet in the snow. Took a walk to the nice warm pub up on the hill in december, through the woods and the snow stared beating it down.
Elisa , posing at Recession studios. Shot on my Yashica Medium format TLR.
Spent some time yesterday with Photographer Phil Sharp. We had a walk and did some night time street shots. Here are just a few frames.
This is Emily, she is a model and a pr agent, were in an East London building. We were shooting a fashion test in december. This is a moment we were outside the hussel of the studio.
